The individual's health monitoring, gathered in its record
Three levels of monitoring, from daily checks to further examinations
In each individual's record, health parameters are grouped into three levels:
- Basic parameters
Weight, condition of the coat, feathers or scales, body condition, faeces condition and appetite.
- Clinical monitoring
Vital signs, specialised examinations, auscultations and pain assessment.
- Further examinations
Blood tests, medical imaging (ultrasound, X-ray), laboratory analyses and ECG.
Three levels of monitoring, in each individual's record
Follow trends, share the history
Each reading is added to the individual's history:
- Curves and statistics
View how a parameter changes over the period of your choice, from one week to 5 years.
- Alert thresholds
Set, for each individual, a minimum value, a maximum value or both. They are shown on the curve, and a value outside them creates an alert task in the sector's tasks.
- Sending to ZIMS
If your facility has enabled it, each weighing can be sent there, as well as the individual's notes.
ZIMS is a trademark of Species360, mentioned here for information. AKONGO is an independent publisher.

Document your health observations in the field
A limp, a wound or a change in behaviour cannot be summed up by a value. From the individual's record:
- Notes with photos and videos
Add a note sorted by category (health, feeding, reproduction…), with photos or a video.
- Voice dictation
Dictate the text of the note instead of typing it.
- The right people notified
Choose the roles to notify (keeper, vet, management, nutrition…): each person receives what concerns them.
- Documents and history
The documents attached to the individual and the history of its monitoring can be viewed from its record.

Find prescriptions and follow treatments in the field
Prescriptions are created in the web version. In the app, the team finds them in each individual's record:
- Active and archived prescriptions
Each treatment with its molecule, dosage, route of administration and batch number. The prescription PDF opens in the app.
- Treatment progress
The days remaining and the last day of treatment are shown.
- Administration tasks
Generated from the prescription, they appear in the tasks with the treatment period: you start them, close them, or mark them as “failed” with a note.
- Animals under treatment
The app's home screen gathers the ongoing treatments for the whole facility, and the sector's daily report has a block dedicated to them.

What veterinary monitoring on mobile changes day to day
Data entry at the time of observation
The reading is recorded in the field, with no notebook to copy out afterwards.
Usable offline
In a building without a network, data entry continues: readings are sent automatically once the network is back.
Photos as support
A photo attached to the reading or the note (e.g. the appearance of a wound, the condition of the coat) complements the value.
A long-term history
Curves place each new value in relation to the previous ones, over a few weeks or several years.
Clear treatments
Everyone can see which animals are under treatment, with which molecule and until when.
Shared information
Keepers and vets consult the same history, on mobile and on the web. No more searching for information in several places.
Connected modules
Veterinary monitoring on mobile relies on other Animal Welfare Monitor modules, in the field and on the web, and feeds them in return.
- Veterinary consoleOn the web, vets create prescriptions, manage the pharmacy and follow the animals under treatment.Explore module
- Individual managementOn the web, each individual's record includes the health readings entered in the field.Explore module
- Sector logbookAdministration tasks join the sector's tasks, and animals under treatment appear in its daily report.Explore module
- Environmental monitoringEnclosure readings are entered in the same way, with their own alert thresholds.Explore module
