An app in everyone’s language

The app is available in six European languages — French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, and Dutch — with more to come.

The language choice is individual, tied to the user profile rather than to the device. When a French keeper hands the tablet to a Spanish intern, the intern finds the entire interface in their own language as soon as they log in. This is not a superficial translation: menus, help messages, form labels — everything adapts instantly.

Linguistic misunderstandings are not trivial in the context of animal welfare monitoring. A misunderstood assessment item can skew a score. A behaviour misidentified because its description was not in the right language can bias an analysis.
